Gangtok, September 14: Mega Miss North East 2007 Geetanjali Thapa beg vote for Prashant in Gangtok last Wednesday. She arrived here to receive a warm reception of Rotary Club of International, Gangtok. Miss Thapa, the girl from Soreng, Sikkim, first made her way to modeling industry finally got the title of Mega Miss North-East in Guwahati recently and opens the door for direct entry into the prestigious Femina Miss India Contest. Miss Thapa won the hearts of the North-east diaspora by her beauty and brain.
She was previously crowned as Miss Beautiful Skin 2006 in Kolkata in the May Queen Contest and as Miss Photogenic, Miss Popular by Judges and Miss University by public vote in Mr. and Miss University National 2006 in Mumbai. Miss Thapa is first main actress in first English film produced in Sikkim 'The Myth', when she was in the age of 15 only.
