It seems like people still haven't had enough of him! Even if it was Prashant's third performance at Kathmandu, people were still enthusiast to watch him sing. "Experience D' Idols", Prashant Tamang live in concert with Charu Semwal and Amit Paul along with the Kid Soul, Anil Singh, Mingma Sherpa and Kranti Ale astound the audiences!

Thousands of people were present at the Dashrath Stadium for the concert. Although it was Prashant's and Charu's third performance, Amit was performing for the first time. The opening performance was made by the "Kid Soul" followed by Anil Singh, Mingma Sherpa, Kranti Ale. The audiences popped into thrill as Charu Semwal joined Kranti Ale for the "Cyanga hoi Chyangba" duet. Next was Amit Paul who mesmerized the audiences with songs like "Pehla Nasha", "Chand Sifaris" et cetera. He also sang his upcoming Nepali movie song, without the music track.

Prashant made the opening with the song "Asare Mahina ma' from his latest album "Dhanyavaad". Later it was followed by soothing numbers like "Jabse tere naina", "yaar ko maine", Gorkhali" and so forth. Prashant also asked Kranti Ale and Anil Singh on stage with the songs "Sarkai Jaagir" and "Engine Gaadima" respectively.

The attendees in the concert undoubtedly had an overwhelming experience as the crowd was screaming out in glee. The event was organized by Zero Hour and presented by Mc. Dowell's No.1 and THT Live. The Co-sponsors of the event was Oranjeboom ans LG and the event was supported by U-n-me, Nepa-sa Music, Seasonal tailors, ezine.com.np, CyberSansar.com, eNasha.com, Hotel Del' Annapurna and Namaste Entertainment.

Hi - I just returned from staying one month in a monastery outside of Kathmandu and the children monks always sang "Asarai Mahina Ma"...I'm in love with the song now but I have no idea what the lyrics mean. Can anyone translate the lyrics into English? Or tell me what the song is generally about? Thank you!!

Suzy, I love that song too and I'm still struggling to translate it but from the bits I understand it's generally about being parted from loved ones I think. The guy sings about going to a far off place (9 mountains across the shore) to help his company and how his lover's tears flow in torrents at the time of parting (the refrain "bichodko belaima" means at the time of parting). And how his son plays all day and forgets him and asks his mother when is papa coming home? (The other refrain, "Khai baba bhanera?") It's very sad.
