It was another stunning performance by our Darjeeling Boy, Prashant Tamang, at the Indian Idol. I too am a singer and have been singing for quite sometime - years on the line - and I too have some sense where a person goes flat, off scale etc. Our boy sang without a single hitch or to say - it was flawless, and this is agreed upon by Mr. Javed Akhtar, but Alisha found some faults in his singing - I guess this was baseless and this is what Mr. Akhtar found out. Alisha found the "heavy metal due" (Sohit) flawless when he was almost of the scale when he sang. I doubt Alisha's decision. Find out for yourselves by watching this video.

I like Emon also, but this guy is too much inclined towards Sonu Nigam and lacks his originality - do the Indian crowd want another Sonu Nigam or some new voice? Our boy has the potential having his own originality and fire and that too without formal vocal training.
Prashant's video is at the last... Keep watching.... AND YES DON'T FORGET TO VOTE FOR PRASHANT BY SENDING AN SMS TO 2525 WITH THE WORD "PRASHANT".
